R900,000 Winning Streak Promotion

1. Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
2. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
3. This promotional competition is exclusive to all Rewards Programme cardholders (“Participants”) subject to their respective active membership(s) at Hemingway’s Casino.

R45 000 CASH & +PLAY RULES

4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. Entries accrue proportionally to points earned during (“Promotional Earning Period”). Points are not transferable.
5. Participants earn points by playing Slots whilst using their respective Rewards Cards at the Hemingways Casino during the Promotional Period.
6. The points earning period for the draws will be advertised through mediums used within the casino.
7. +Play prizes awarded in this promotion will be issued according to the Player’s Patron Profile
8. This promotion is not tiered and open to all Hemingways Casino Rewards Card Holders.
9. The Winning Streak weekly draw participants for R45 000 Cash & +Play prizes must earn 200 casino points for entry tickets during the promotional earning periods and activate the tickets at the e-host when the electronic entry bins are open. The opening and closing times for the entry bins will be advertised through mediums used within the casino.
10. Draw times, dates, and points criteria to earn tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
11. Participants cannot be drawn more than once on per draw date.
12. All Participants are required to be present at the all the draws.
13. Provided that a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant must nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management. Nomination forms will be available at the Customer Services Desk from the opening and closing times for the electronic entry bin.
14. Authorized representatives or a participant shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.

R10 000 CASH & +PLAY RULES

15. Participants qualify for the draw by playing any slot machine at Hemingways Casino between 4pm and 8pm on draw days as advertised on site.

18. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize(s) were won.
19. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item(s) unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
20. Participants or duly authorized representatives shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds from the time of announcement, and must produce the valid ticket entry and positive and acceptable form of identification e.g. a South African I.D./South African Driver’s License/Passport or other official form of identification as approved by the casino, Hemingways Casino Rewards card of the individual that they are representing and any other details as required. A redraw will occur should participants not present themselves within 90 seconds
21. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, and there is no record of the prize winner nominating a representative to act on their behalf, a re-draw will take place.
22. Should the prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of nominating a representative to be present for the draw, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the proxy form or otherwise readily available.  In such circumstances, the prize winner may within15 days of the draw claim the prize.
23. All decisions are final and binding, no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; any complaints arising at the event will be investigated and forwarded to the ECGB for investigation and final decision.
24. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
25. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
26. By entering the promotion, you agree:
    1. that Hemingways Casino may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition,
    2. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
27. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
28. Surveillance specialist, Security & Marketing, will audit the draws.
