Car Give-Away

1. Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
2. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
3. This promotional competition is exclusive to all Rewards Programme cardholders (“Participants”) subject to their respective active membership(s) Hemingway’s Casino.
4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. Entries accrue proportionally to points earned during 27 May to 31 July 2022 (“Promotional Earning Period”). Points are not transferable.
5. Participants earn points by playing Slots and/or Tables whilst using their respective Rewards Cards at the Hemingways Casino during the Promotional Period.
6. This promotion is tiered and participants are only eligible to win the car allocated to their respective tiers.
7. Gold and Platinum participants must activate their entry into the draw(s), during the stipulated activation period from 9am on Monday, 1 August 2022 to 6pm on Saturday, 13 August 2022 prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the electronic entry bins are open. The opening and closing times for the entry bins will be advertised through mediums used within the casino.
8. Black card participants must activate their entry into the draw(s), during the stipulated activation period from 9am on Monday, 1 August 2022 to 8pm on Saturday, 13 August 2022 prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the electronic entry bins are open. The opening and closing times for the entry bins will be advertised through mediums used within the casino.
9. Draw times, dates, tier and points criteria to earn tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
10. Prize Winners will be selected by a way of random draw; all draws will be done electronically excluding the Finale.
11. Participants cannot be drawn more than once to qualify for the finale.
12. All Participants are not required to be present at the finalist draw on Saturday, 13 August 2022.
13. All 15 Participants for the finale are required to be present on 19 and 20 August 2022 for their respective tiered car draw finale. Provided that a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant must nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management. Nomination forms will be available at the Customer Services Desk from the opening and closing times for the electronic entry bin.
14. Should a finalist not be contactable prior to the Finale draw, Hemingways Casino reserves the right to appoint a participant on their behalf provided the elected person is not directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
15. Authorized representatives or a participant shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.
16. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize(s) were won.
17. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item(s) unless otherwise advertised.
18. Prize winners who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Hemingways Card belonging to the winner; and positive and acceptable form of identification.
19. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, and there is no record of the prize winner nominating a representative to act on their behalf, a re-draw will take place.
20. Should the prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of nominating a representative to be present for the draw, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the proxy form or otherwise readily available.  In such circumstances, the prize winner may within15 days of the draw claim the prize.
21. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
22. The prize winner must claim the prize at the casino within 15 days of the draw.
23. All decisions are final and binding, no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; any complaints arising at the event will be investigated and forwarded to the ECGBB for investigation and final decision.
24. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
25. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
26. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.

Slots Surprise and Delight Draws

28. The system will randomly select a slot machine located on the main casino floor and smoking section.
29. Customers will be allowed to participate in promotion more than once depending on slot machine selection by the system.
30. Once positive verification has been received, the customer will choose 1 letter from ‘HEMINGWAYS’ and will win the corresponding prize. Customer must not to touch the suitcase/box or contents for safety reasons. A staff member will reveal the prize on the letter selected by the guest.
31. Prizes will be offered based on the guest’s selection.
32. Due to the random outcome of winning combinations the fully intended prize money may not be reached by the end of the promotional period.
33. In the event that there is cash prize money remaining at the end of the promotion, an ad hoc bonus draw will be held.
34. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.

Tables Surprise and Delight Draws

35. A win on the tables strictly constitutes the following combinations:
36. Roulette – 1 x Straight up on the days date
37. Blackjack – Blackjack of the same suit
38. Poker – 3 of a kind or higher
39. Guests with winning combinations will receive an entry ticket into the prize draw at 10pm on the promotion day and be rewarded Free Play according to their tier status.
40. The pay-out of the promotion prize money is dependent on the draw.
41. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the presentation of prize/draw from the casino where the prize(s) were won.
42. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.

44. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified
