Moviegoers can now experience the latest movies in 3D for the first time in East London at Hemingways Casino’s state-of-the-art cinemas. The casino’s brand new DOLBY DIGITAL 3D system has been installed and on Friday the 21st of October, The Smurfs and Fright Night were screened in 3D for the first time.
“Hemingways Casino boasts the biggest big screen in the Eastern Cape, and now we’ve brought the advanced DOLBY DIGITAL 3D screens to our cinema complex to give East London’s movie fans an ‘almost as real as real’ experience when they watch movies with us.
“This comes after months of research and investigation into the system and of course the demand from our community. We’re delighted with our new 3D movie offering and based on our research, we believe that local moviegoers are going to be just as excited as we are,” says Neville Austin, Marketing Manager at Hemingways Casino.
3D movie ticket prices are only R45, making them the cheapest in the country. As a launch special Hemingways will be offering tickets at only R35 between now and Thursday 1 December. All other movie tickets remain R25 per person.
