Stores in the long awaited Mall opened at 07h30, giving eager shoppers extra time to explore new stores and snap up speciality items and opening specials.

Some 85% of the shops opened, including the custom designed amphitheatre (for fashion shows, music shows and exhibitions).

There are 200 stores at Hemingways Mall including clothing shops, jewellery stores, stationers, restaurants and coffee shops, movies, home, decor, interior & furniture, hair and beauty salons, banking and finance, health,optometrists, audio visual equipment, electronics, music and so much more.

Fashion lovers will be spoilt for choice with the international fashion brands such as Quiksilver, Hang Ten and Sunglass Hut as well as popular national brands including Cape Union Mart, Due South, Old Kahaki, Sneakers, Total Sports, Sportscene, John Craig, Luella's, A & D Spitz, Sterns, Galaxy and NWJ.

The Body Shop is also opening in Hemingways Mall.

The tenant mix of Hemingways Mall is further enhanced with Dischem, Clicks, Incredible Connection, Boardmans, @Home, Musica and Exclusive Books.

Toys R Us will also include the first ever South African Disney Concept Store.

The Hemingways Mall has ample and secure parking on 3 parking levels under the centre, with the ground floor linkig directly to Hemingways Casino, giving you a great new mix of restaurants and entertainment options for all ages, from toddler to teenager to adult.

Shoppers can expect added excitement over the coming few months as the doors of more new shops and restaurants will open to add to the great variety offered by the mall.

The mezzanine level will be part of the second phase opening, as will some of the restaurants.
