The Duke of Edinburgh Golf Cup Tournament is South Africa's most prestigious golfing event. Amateur golfers across the country are invited to compete in this esteemed tournament, for a once in a lifetime opportunity to play at the Duke of Edinburgh Golf Cup Championship, in the United Kingdom.
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh Golf Cup was established to raise funds on behalf of International Golf for Youth Ltd, which supports youth deelopment all over the world.
The 2010 final of The Duke of Edinburgh took place at Pecanwood on 18 May 2010 and was won by Struan Harris of Blackrock Casino (pictured below 3rd from left)

The Hemingways round of the tournament was won by John Paterson. Hemingways Casino was able to donate R102,350 to the East London Youth Care Centre. Below is the pledge for R102,350 being handed to the East London Youth Care Centre.
